Homesteads located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Community now known as Roosevelt. Roosevelt was an all-Jewish community of 200 families, established in 1933 by the U.S. Farm Security Administration, together with several Jewish organizations. Engaged in chicken farming and garment manufacturing. The families were former garment workers from New York City
