Born in New York in 1881. At the age of 17 joined Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. A year later became assistant manager of Glickman's (Yiddish) Theater in Chicago. By 1912, he managed tours of such stars as David Kessler, Jacob Adler, Bessie Thomashevsky, Jennie Goldstein, and others. In New York he managed, at times, six Yiddish theaters simultaneously. In 1932 he became general manager of Maurice Schwartz's Yiddish Art Theater. In 1942 he produced "Oy iz dos a meydl" starring Molly Picon. He died in 1952
