Photographer, Brooklyn, N.Y. His photographs of the Hasidic community of the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn served to illustrate George Kranzler's *Williamsburg - U.S.A.: The Face of Faith. An American Hassidic Community*, Baltimore, 1972. The book depicts the community in the 1960s and won the 1967 Seltzer-Brodsky prize given by the YIVO Institute.
