Administrative/Biographical History
Heinz Condell was an artist and a stage and costume designer. One of the founders of the Jewish Kultur Bund Teater in Berlin. Designer for the New York City Opera, Maurice Schwartz's Yiddish Art Theater and ARTEF (Arbeter Teater Farband) Company in New York. Lived in Germany and the U.S. Luba B. Condell, his wife, was a Jewish actress in New York. She performed with the Folksbiene Theater.
