Conductor and composer.  Conductor of the Hazomir Society in London, cantor in Manor Park, and director and conductor of the Rothschild Synagogue choir in London.  Conductor of the Workmen's Circle Chorus, and the Synagogue Choral Alliance in New York.  Professor of music at the Master Institute of United Arts.  Posner composed music for a play, an operetta, liturgical works, songs.  He wrote articles on Jewish music in *Der tog* (New York), as well as textbooks in Yiddish on music theory and harmony.  Born in Plock, Poland.  Lived in England from about 1908 to 1919.
