Musical and theatrical performers. Gustav Berger performed in David Herman's productions. Arrived in the U.S. in 1937. Married Fania Rubina in 1940. Performed with the Yiddish Art Theater and in at least 4 Yiddish films. Also performed recitations and humorous skits. Born in Warsaw in 1909 or 1910. Died in New York in 1958. Fania Rubina was a Yiddish actress and singer. She was born in 1906 in Vilna and died in New York in 1997.
