Administrative/Biographical History
Rabbi, educator, and author. Studied in the yeshivas of Eishishok, Volozhin, and Slobodka. Headed the yeshiva in Suwalki in 1913-1914 and then served as Orthodox Rabbi in Stepney and Birmingham, England (1914-1921). Served as Rabbi in Revere, Mass. (1921-1924). Settled in Bayonne, NJ in 1924, where he served as Rabbi of Congregation Beth Abraham until his death in 1978. Author of four books, in Yiddish and Hebrew, on religious subjects. Born in Sokoly, near Lomzhe, in 1888
