Administrative/Biographical History
Yiddish poet and writer. Was among the first Yiddish Modernist poets. Published poems and short stories in *Di naye velt*, *In zikh*, *Shriftn*, *Tog*, *Zukunft*, and other Yiddish-language periodicals. The only book of her poems, *In heysn vint*, was published in New York in 1935. Also wrote in Russian and English. Took up painting in her later years. Born in Bobruisk, Byelorussia. Settled in New York in 1912. Died in New York.
