Administrative/Biographical History
Established in 1909 as a Zwanitz Podolier Progressive Society. Accepted that same year into the Workman's Circle as Branch 277. In 1930, some members broke away to form the Podolier Br. 277, International Workers' Order. Zwanitzer *landslayt* from all societies united in 1944 to form the Zwanitz Podolier Relief Committee to aid surviving *landslayt* after World War II.
