Yiddish poet. Contributed to *Dos vort*, *Di yidishe shtime*, *Folksblat*, *Der emes* (Moscow). In 1948 Osherowitch was arrested by Soviet authorities and sentenced to 10 years in a labor camp of which he served seven years. Born in Panevezys, Lithuania. Lived in the Soviet Union. Settled in Israel.
