Administrative/Biographical History
Organized in New York by immigrants from Ostroleka, Poland, as the Ostrolenker Lodge No. 607, Independent Order Brith Abraham, 1911. Filed for incorporation of the Ostrolenker Friendship Society in 1950 and transferred cemetery property to the new membership corporation. Contributed to the Al Tidom Association to aid Soviet Jews and to the U.S. Grand Lodge of the Independent Order Brith Abraham. Dissolved in 1973. Funds were distributed to various Jewish charities.
