Administrative/Biographical History
Founded in New York in 1911 by immigrants from Busko, Poland. Activities included the establishment of a *shtibl* (small prayer house), 1911-1935; a *Gmilas Khesed* (interest free loan fund). Sent relief to Busko. Organized an interest free loan society there before World War II. Aided *landslayt* in Poland and Israel after World War II. Maintained contact with the Busker *landsmanshaft* in Israel.
