Brief Description: The collection is photographic in nature, and consists of over 3,000 color slides of approximately 50 Romanian synagogues as they appeared in c. 1995.  Among the several localities represented are Arad, Botosani, Bucharest, Caransebes, Cluj, Craiova, Dorohoi, Iasi, Oradea, Satu Mare, Sighet, and Timosoara.  Also included are blueprints, floor plans, and general comments relating to these synagogues, as well as Romanian-language newspaper clippings and printouts pertaining to the synagogues and local Jewish communities, 1994-1995.
