Born in Warsaw, Poland on February 24, 1899. Was one of the founders of the Bund, or General Jewish Labor Union's youth organizations, Tsukunft (founded in 1910). Was active in interwar Poland in Bund and Tsukunft activities, as well as in the Cooperative Movement, about which he later wrote a Polish-language monograph, Some Remarks about the History of the Cooperative Movement in Great Britain (1943). In the beginning of World War II, fled to Vilna, where he was arrested by Soviet authorities and imprisoned in the Lukishki prison. Was sentenced to do hard labor in Vorkuta camp in Siberia. Following the Stalin-Sikorski agreement, he joined General Anders' division of the Polish Army. Was demobilized in 1944 and became a member of the Bund delegation in London, 1944-1945. Was a member of the Executive of the World Coordinating Committee of the Bund, in c. 1957. Died in New York in January 1971.
