Born in Wolbrom, Poland in 1913. Survived World War II in Europe. Immigrated to the United States following World War II. Became active in the Workmen's Circle, even prior to becoming an American citizen. Was member of the Artur Zygielbojm Branch of the Workmen's Circle in New York. Traveled throughout the United States on behalf of the Workmen's Circle, becoming a full-time salaried employee of the organization by the 1960s. Died in Santa Cruz, California in 2005.
