Administrative/Biographical History
Mutual aid society founded in New York. Alternately known as Chevra Nachil Itzchok Dorshe Tow, Congregation Nachel Itzchok Dorshetov, and Congregation Nachal Itzchok Dorshe Tov Anshe Bobt. May have merged at some point with Anshe Bobt (Babtai, Bobty), Lithuania; at least, in terms of sharing a common cemetery plot in Union Field Cemetery. Society was located at different addresses, including 123 Forsyth Street and 79 Ridge Street, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Functioned as a burial society. Society used the Mt. Zion, Washington, Union Field, and Mt. Lebanon cemeteries in Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens, NY.
