Administrative/Biographical History
Born in 1892 in Brest Litovsk. Active in the Poale Tsiyon movement since early youth--for which he was arrested twice--and a close friend of Ber Borochov. Settled in New York in 1912. Also active in the Pocketbook Makers' Union. Late in his career became Associate Director of the Trade Union Council of the National Committee for Labor Israel for 11 years. Died in 1962 in Arizona
