Yiddish actors, husband and wife.      Joseph Buloff was a leading actor of the  Yiddish and American stages.  Appeared with the Vilna Troupe from 1918 to 1927.  Came to the U.S. in 1928 on an invitation from Maurice Schwartz, and joined the Yiddish Art Theater. Performed in Yiddish in the Americas, Europe, South Africa, Israel.  Directed and acted in nearly 200 plays in Russian, Polish and Rumanian.  Began performing in English in 1936. Had a long and distinguished career on Broadway.  Appeared in films from 1940.  Frequently performed on television.      Luba Kadison is the daughter of Leib Kadison, the founder of the Vilna Troupe, and began her career as a member of this ensemble.  In the U. S. she played leading female roles in the Yiddish Art Theater.
