Brief Description: The papers consist of manuscripts, correspondence (1920s-1950s), clippings, programs, invitations.  Also included are some papers, such as correspondence and manuscripts of the poet Alter (Arthur) Esselin (1889-1974). Esselin, whose real name was Ore Serebrenik, was born in Chernigov, Ukraine and settled in the U.S. in 1908.
