Brief Description: The collection consists of manuscripts and copies of manuscripts of Yiddish plays and translations or adaptations from plays in other languages.  Playwrights include:  Ossip Dymow, Sigmund Feinman, Abraham Goldfaden, Jacob Gordin, Jacob Jacobson, Harry Kalmanovitch, Leon Kobrin, Zisl Kornblith, Joseph Latteiner, Solomon Libin, N. Rakow, Moishe Richter, Nahum Meir Shaikewitz, Sholem Aleichem, William Siegel, Boris Thomashefsky, Isidore Zolatarevsky, Miriam Shomer Zunser.  There are translations into Yiddish of works by the following authors:  Leonid Andreyev, Maksim Gorkii, Leo Tolstoy, William Shakespeare, Paddy Chayefsky.
